Experienced product manager and lifelong tech nerd, driving product strategy and delivery of industry-leading event software.
I joined Tito in 2018 as customer experience lead, having been an early customer myself. Within two years, I advanced to the leadership team, taking on responsibilities across product operations, customer support, and sales and marketing. I’ve managed the product team since 2021, overseeing strategy, processes, and the delivery of our events-focused software suite that's processed over $1b in ticket sales, and leading a team of engineers.
I set direction, prioritise projects, and handle spec development, backlog triage, feature testing, and documentation. I often also take a lead on product-adjacent initiatives, contributing to company strategy (including pricing, recruitment, procurement), and supporting our customers directly. I call on my marketing background for copywriting, graphic design, video editing, and presentations, and occasionally on my fledgling programming skills to contribute to the codebase.
With a diverse background spanning theatre, youth work, criminology, marketing, and more, my career choices have always prioritised creative thinking, communication, problem-solving, and continuous skill development.
Driven by curiosity, I've spent my adult life studying an eclectic range of subjects at several iconic institutions.
CS50x Introduction to Computer Science
To obtain my certificate for this challenging and world-renowned open-access course, I:
I previously completed CS50 Business, a foundational, non-technical version of the course designed for business professionals and focussed on core programming concepts relevant to decision-making in tech-driven environments.
Literary Theory: An Introduction
As a lifelong reader, I chose to study this online course to deepen my understanding of literature, language, and society. Topics included structuralism, post-structuralism, psychoanalysis, feminism, postcolonialism, and Marxism.
Postgraduate Certificate in Criminology (Distinction)
I decided to spend seven months of the pandemic exploring a topic that bridges my interests in law, human behaviour and psychology. I chose to study the following modules:
Master of Science in International Event and Festival Management
Selected modules included:
Though I didn't know it at the time, this qualification would change the course of my career and lead ultimately to my current role delivering event tech products.
During my MSc at Napier, I was selected from a pool of applicants to participate in a short-term ERASMUS programme at Libera Università Maria SS. Assunta, the second-oldest university in Rome. The curriculum built on the topics I was already studying, from an international perspective.
Bachelor of Arts in Modern Drama Studies (2:1)
Like many 18-year-olds, I didn't know what I wanted to "be when I grew up". So I simply chose the subject I enjoyed most at the time in order to have a university experience.
Over the four years (I deferred my final year to get some managerial experience) I developed valuable skills in communication, collaboration, creative thinking, and performing under pressure. Highlights from this time include:
My career path has hardly been linear, but the through-line is creative problem-solving, cross-functional collaboration, and making a positive impact.
Head of Product
Over the past 10 years, I've progressed from being a Tito customer to employed as Customer Experience Lead, and eventually promoted to a key member of the leadership team. These varied perspectives have shaped my ability to contribute strategically and lead with insight.
Marketing Manager
Building on my events experience, in this role I was responsible for the agency's messaging, and expanding and refining their portfolio of lead-generation events.
Marketing Manager
I was a founding member of the team and was instrumental in laying foundations during the start-up phase that have seen the company achieve incredible growth both during my time there and after I left. My willingness to turn my hand to basically any task proved very useful when we started as a small team of two.
Marketing Executive
Following my master's, I returned to London and sought a role that would allow me to combine my new-found events knowledge with my existing marketing skills.
Communications Officer
Initially, I joined the team on a temporary basis, working across several departments before my recruitment to the Vice-Chancellor’s office, at the heart of the university.
Digital Marketing Officer
Captivated by the city and undeterred by language barriers, I relocated to Berlin and secured a six-month online marketing internship with a cultural exchange organisation, followed by ten months of remote freelance work from the UK.
Programme Leader
I was selected for promotion from my initial temporary position, to coordinate and deliver a rolling 12-week self-development and employability programme called Key Challenge to multiple cohorts of twelve 16-25-year-olds disengaged from education.
Account Manager
Originally joining the company as a Sales Consultant while at university, I deferred the final year of my studies to accept a promotion to Account Manager. I supervised my team in maximising sales opportunities and delivering excellent customer service.
My versatility and energy make me an invaluable asset to a small but ambitious team.
